Your impact

As our Manager Commerce, you will be the commercial compass guiding our strategy towards sustainable growth. Your commercial acumen will be crucial in expanding our market share and solidifying our position in the energy market, energy contracts, green+ (smart solutions) and beyond.


You will launch initiatives that not only attract new customers but also deepen our existing relationships, ensuring that every interaction with Vandebron is meaningful and impactful. Every customer counts in growing our customer base, customer value and customer loyalty. Being relevant for our customers, and turning our customers into real ambassadors.

Your team consists of channel managers, proposition marketers, retention and loyalty marketers and business analytics. As Manager Commerce you directly report into the Commercial Director. Your team works closely with Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, Proposition, Operations (CX) and Product.

As a commercial manager you will capture, shape and accelerate these opportunities, and lead the way to realize Vandebron’s ambitions.


What you’ll do

  • Mentor and manage a high-performing Commerce team dedicated to acquisition, development and retention, driving customer lifetime value and loyalty

  • Inspire people to bring their A-game and support them in their career growth

  • Stay on top of developments in the energy market and competition to identify opportunities and translate insights into actionable commercial plans

  • Craft and execute a commercial strategy and plan with your team that sets Vandebron apart in a highly competitive green energy landscape

  • Set the commerce agenda for Vandebron, and lead across teams and domains (XFN) with your commercial mindset – work closely with Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, Proposition, Operations (CX) and Product

  • Steer rigorously on commercial performance and challenge, on a weekly and monthly basis, in a high pace environment – setting ambitious KPI’s and ensuring top notch market and performance insights to take data-driven decisions

  • Build and foster a learning environment characterized by curiosity, driven by data and hypotheses and fueled by a can-do mentality, agile way of working and mission driven cross-functional collaboration


What you bring

  • Mission-driven – you are passionate about contributing to our mission and making a positive impact.

  • Commerce experience – at least 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in energy, tech, telco or entertainment, commercial mindset, entrepreneurial, and data-driven

  • Strong leadership skills – proven track record in commercial management roles, with a minimum of 5+ years in comparable roles
