People Business Partner

    • Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
  • People & Culture

Job description

Are you an experienced People Business Partner eager to contribute to our mission? Discover how you can make a difference at Vandebron!

Who We Are

Vandebron is a challenger in the energy market, committed to full transparency with a clear mission: 100% sustainable energy ASAP. We love to innovate, developing smart energy applications like 100% green smart charging and balancing the grid with solar and wind curtailment. By leveraging technology, we make the energy market more sustainable, accelerating the energy transition.

Your Impact

Just like the energy market, Vandebron is constantly in transition. Therefore, the People & Culture team continuously works on initiatives to support all our colleagues in growing professionally and moving a bit closer to our mission every day. It’s no coincidence that two of our values are ‘Bring your A-game’ and ‘Move to improve’. As the People Business Partner, you will be the strategic and tactical advisor for managers of multiple teams in Tech, Data, and Operations (around 150 employees). You will play a key role in helping people at Vandebron thrive and in building highly engaged and committed teams.

You will be responsible for managing various projects end-to-end, based on team and business needs. With a forward-thinking approach and a strong sense of responsibility, you will help drive Vandebron forward, aligning today's actions with future goals. Your role will involve both "running the business" (such as managing absenteeism and performance management) and "changing the business" by autonomously initiating and implementing projects that are essential for future success.

As a People Business Partner, you are the key link between the People & Culture team and the business, ensuring the right connection on both sides to build successful teams. Our People & Culture team consists of Recruitment, HR Operations, Learning & Development, Business Partners, and Office & Events.

What You Will Do

  • Position yourself as a day-to-day business partner for managers: advise, coach and guide them on all People & Culture-related topics.

  • Understand the business deeply and implement people solutions that meet both long-term and short-term needs.

  • Provide a constructive and critical view on quality, effectively guiding managers in building engaged and committed teams.

  • Translate internal and external HR developments and trends into People & Culture policies and processes, where you proactively identify and implement improvements.

  • Autonomously manage and execute various projects, such cultural values & behavior, performance management and engagement. Where you align with the other People Business Partner and divide, tackle and implement projects together.

  • Uphold Vandebron's cultural values and way of working by acting as a gatekeeper, challenging others, and leading by example.
