About the role

As a Business Analyst, you'll be the crucial link between our commercial ambitions and our data. You'll work closely with the Growth team and other stakeholders, like marketers and channel managers, to provide insights into our commercial performance. You'll translate business questions into data-driven answers so we can make the right decisions and achieve our growth goals.

Working from the heart of our Growth team, you'll collaborate with marketers, channel managers, and data specialists to unlock insights into our performance. Your work will directly empower us to make smarter decisions, achieve our growth goals, and accelerate the transition to 100% sustainable energy. You'll report to the Manager Growth and be a key player in writing Vandebron's next chapter.

What you'll do

• Guide our strategy by delivering proactive and ad-hoc analyses that help our commercial teams identify opportunities and hit their goals.

• Own the story behind the numbers by leading our acquisition and retention forecasting, supporting in presenting a clear, data-backed narrative of our growth and ambitions.

• Make data accessible for everyone by building and maintaining clear, insightful dashboards in Lightdash (daily, weekly, and monthly, yearly) alongside our Data Analysts.

• Sharpen our predictive power by managing and optimizing our Customer Base Simulation model to provide reliable, forward-looking estimates of our customer base.

You'll be a good fit if you

• Proven Experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a commercial and/or analytical role, ideally in a fast-paced tech, e-commerce, retail or energy environment.

• SQL Savvy: You have experience with SQL (we use Snowflake) and are comfortable writing queries to get the answers you need.

• Data Visualization Skills: You are experienced in building dashboards, you make data really come to life. 

• Persuasive Communicator: You can translate complex analyses into a clear, professional, and compelling story for any audience.

• Mission-Aligned: You're motivated by the idea of using your skills to build a more sustainable future.

What do we offer?

• The salary range for this position is between €4.000,- and €5.000,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week. This range is dependent on the level of seniority and expertise.

• To work towards our mission with a good dose of energy, we offer you 30 paid days off per year.

• Work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year (max 4 consecutive weeks, including up to 4 weeks outside the EU).
