Hi! I'm Victor, and I work as a Workspace Engineer at Vandebron. Before joining here, I did similar work, but it was more consumer-focused. Although I enjoyed that job, I felt something crucial was missing: impact. I wanted my work to have more meaning.

Then I heard about Vandebron. I actually knew very little about green energy, but as soon as I delved into it, I was immediately inspired by their mission. It wasn't just what Vandebron wanted to achieve with the energy transition, but especially how they aimed to do it. Their approach to technology and innovation to bring about real change truly appealed to me. As someone who has been fascinated by technology that makes a difference since childhood, Vandebron was exactly what I was looking for.

As a Workspace Engineer within the IT support team, I handle support tickets and manage our digital tools. But my role is much broader! I'm given the space to contribute ideas and help improve processes. I assist in making workflows more efficient and rolling out new tools. Even small optimizations make a big difference in productivity, and I'm really proud of that.

In six months, I've become much more self-assured and have learned a tremendous amount about the green energy sector. But the biggest difference? My stakeholder management skills have grown enormously. Working daily with different teams here has truly helped me.

What motivates me every day is the combination of meaningful work, a great atmosphere, and fantastic colleagues. The feeling that you're contributing to a more sustainable world through technology is incredibly motivating.
