Your impact

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you play an important role in Vandebron’s commercial success. Together with our other Pricing Analyst, you’ll shape and steer our pricing strategies across energy contracts and smart flexibility solutions, ensuring they are competitive, future-proof, and aligned with our mission to accelerate the energy transition.

Sitting at the intersection of market dynamics, customer value, and business performance, you translate complex energy market signals into smart pricing decisions. You’ll help Vandebron grow sustainably by ensuring our pricing reflects both market reality and long-term value creation — for customers and for the planet.

In this role, you’ll be reporting directly to Bob Molenaar, Head of Strategy and Proposition.

What you’ll do

• Define and steer pricing strategy by developing and implementing pricing approaches for fixed, variable, and dynamic energy contracts, as well as flexibility solutions such as Smart Charging, in close collaboration with Strategy, Finance, and Commerce.

• Optimize energy pricing on a daily and weekly basis by translating purchase prices, margin targets, and competitive benchmarks into clear, commercially sound prices.

• Monitor market and competitive developments by tracking regulatory changes, wholesale price movements, and competitor offerings to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic advantages.

• Enable smarter decision-making by building and improving tooling such as dashboards, price scrapers, and analyses that support pricing transparency and strategic choices

• Develop business cases for new pricing models, propositions, and product initiatives, assessing both financial impact and strategic fit.

What you bring

• You have experience developing and executing B2C energy pricing strategies.

• You understand energy market dynamics, including procurement, tariff structures, and risk management principles.

• You’re comfortable working with data and analytics, using tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Lightdash, or similar to extract insights and support decision-making.

• You have a strong grasp of financial fundamentals such as margins, customer lifetime value, cost-to-acquire, and P&L impact.

• You’re analytically strong, able to identify patterns in complex datasets and translate them into clear recommendations.

• You collaborate easily with diverse stakeholders and can align multiple teams around pricing decisions.

• You communicate clearly and confidently, making complex pricing topics accessible to non-experts.
