Who we are
At Vandebron, we're transforming the energy landscape, steering away from the conventional to champion sustainability. Born in 2014, our journey began with Chapter 1, disrupting the market with a transparent platform connecting consumers directly to local, green energy producers.
Now, in Chapter 2, we are dedicated to ensuring 100% green energy availability, 100% of the time. Think smart solutions: flexible use of wind and solar farms and efficient energy storage.
No waiting around, we actively shape a sustainable future. Good energy, smart solutions: that's Vandebron.
About the Role
You’ll be part of our Salesforce team within the Consumer domain. The team is responsible for the innovation and maintenance of our Sales and Service Clouds, which support communication with both our B2C and B2B customers.
Beyond enabling our Front Office and Back Office teams to interact with customers, the Salesforce team also manages and runs many customer-related business processes fully within Salesforce—using Apex and a custom-built Process Engine. On top of that, the team maintains several integrations with core systems such as ERP, backend services, and Marketing Cloud.
The broad scope of the work, combined with close collaboration across departments, makes this role highly dynamic. You’ll have the opportunity to bring in new ideas, experiment with tailored solutions, and continuously refine the way we work.
What you’ll do
Design, implement, and refine solutions inside the Salesforce environment, using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
Review and test your peers’ work through GitHub and our staging environment to ensure quality and reliability.
Propose and implement improvements to pipelines, refactor existing solutions, and help evolve how the team works.
Translate new business requirements into robust, future-proof technical solutions.
Actively collaborate with other teams to design integrations and make technical decisions together.
Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality within the Salesforce team by sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement.
Vereisten
You’ll be a good fit if you:
You’re an experienced Salesforce engineer who can quickly get up to speed and contribute independently.
You’re skilled with Salesforce technologies like Apex, SOQL, REST API, and Lightning Web Components, and know when to use out-of-the-box features versus custom solutions.
You bring solid coding practices — testing, reusability, code reviews, version control — and enjoy improving pipelines and processes.
You’re curious and proactive, staying on top of Salesforce trends and developments.
You collaborate openly, communicate clearly, and like to ask questions to get to the best solution together.
What do we offer?
This position offers a one-year contract. While the initial term is one year, we are open to discussing the future of the role based on business needs and the impact you make.

A company bonus based upon the results of Vandebron.
Work abroad for up to 6 weeks per year (max 4 consecutive weeks, including up to 4 weeks outside the EU).
Employees with three years of service can go on a sabbatical for up to three months (one month paid with holidays, two unpaid).
Request special leave for significant personal events, volunteering for SDG 11 or 13, and an additional day for religious celebrations.
Fuel your brain with an annual €850 learning budget to grow personally and professionally.
Dive into new skills with access to Learning & Development workshops and programs.
Plan for the future with our 3rd-tier pension scheme.
Stay connected hassle-free with a monthly €50 net reimbursement for your phone and wifi.
One-time €200 net allowance to create a comfortable home workspace for our team members.
