Job description
Who we are
At Vandebron, we're transforming the energy landscape, steering away from the conventional to champion sustainability. Born in 2014, our journey began with Chapter 1, disrupting the market with a transparent platform connecting consumers directly to local, green energy producers.
Now, in Chapter 2, we are dedicated to ensuring 100% green energy availability — 100% of the time. Think smart solutions — flexible use of wind and solar farms, Smart EV Charging, and efficient energy storage. No waiting around — we actively shape a sustainable future.
Good energy, smart solutions — that’s Vandebron.
Your impact
As the Product Owner for our digital acquisition journey, you’ll shape how future customers find us, engage with us, and ultimately choose Vandebron. You’ll own the full digital acquisition funnel — from first click to conversion — and drive both strategic growth and continuous experimentation.
You’ll develop a clear experimentation strategy, enable commercial stakeholders through self-service and headless architecture, and ensure we can rapidly test, learn, and iterate. With your strategic insights and prioritization mindset, you’ll help us scale what works, fix what doesn’t, and accelerate our path toward a fossil-free energy future — customer by customer.
In this job, you’ll be reporting to Daphne Hooyer, Head of Product.
What you’ll do
Develop your vision on the future of our digital acquisition journey by analyzing opportunities, performance metrics, and customer needs, and engage stakeholders with strategic insight.
Develop a robust testing framework and experimentation strategy in collaboration with commercial stakeholders, including self-service capabilities and headless component architecture that enable them to execute optimizations independently, driving rapid, continuous improvement of our digital acquisition channels with a clear focus on traffic quality and conversion rates.
Actively align your roadmap and cooperate with commercial stakeholders, customer experience team, development team, and external partners to create a culture of data-driven decision-making focused on acquisition growth.
Lead the implementation of discovery methodologies and user research, collaborating closely with data analysts to derive strategic insights.
Prioritize and define the scope and requirements for the Scrum team to develop digital solutions that boost traffic, conversion, and customer segmentation.
What you bring
You are experienced in digital product development, for example in a role like Product Owner or Product Manager, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies, analytics, and engineering.
You have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in B2C digital acquisition and/or conversion optimization, with measurable impact on traffic quality, conversion rates, and customer acquisition metrics.
A proficient level of Dutch and English.
You can clearly articulate product vision and priorities, influence stakeholders, and create alignment around strategy and roadmap.
You excel at prioritization, using data and insights to balance quick wins with impactful long-term initiatives.
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and energized by experimentation and optimization.
You’re able to simplify complex digital ecosystems and turn them into intuitive, validated solutions.
You’re collaborative, communicative, comfortable with ambiguity, and always looking to learn and improve.
Why this role is a meaningful career move
This role comes at a defining moment for Vandebron. As Product Owner Acquisition, you’ll step into a phase where we reposition our brand, shift toward a truly customer-centric approach, and modernize our technical landscape. You’ll shape how we attract, convert, and scale our customer base — and how product, tech, and commercial teams collaborate going forward.
This isn’t just optimization work — it’s helping build the next generation of Vandebron’s digital acquisition engine.
What you’ll learn
How to set and execute a product vision during a company-wide digital and product transformation.
How to build scalable experimentation frameworks and self-service tools that accelerate iteration.
How to work with modular and headless architecture in a transitioning tech landscape.
How to drive alignment across product, tech, data, and commercial teams using insight-driven decision-making.
What success looks like after your first 6–12 months
Higher-quality traffic and improved conversion performance across digital channels.
Reduced dependency on engineering for experiments and optimizations through scalable frameworks and self-service tooling.
A validated roadmap supported by continuous experimentation and customer insights.
Stronger alignment between Product, Tech, and Commercial teams — reflected in speed, ownership, and clarity.
What’s in it for you

An annual €850 learning budget, as well as access to Learning & Development workshops and programs.
A pension scheme to plan for the future.
A monthly €50 net allowance for your phone and Wi-Fi.
A one-time €200 net allowance to create a comfortable home workspace.
