At Vandebron, we're transforming the energy landscape, steering away from the conventional to champion sustainability. We are dedicated to ensuring 100% green energy availability, 100% of the time. Think smart solutions — flexible use of wind and solar farms, Smart EV Charging, and efficient energy storage.

About the Role
At Vandebron, our engineering teams are at the heart of driving impactful change through innovative and scalable solutions. We embrace simplicity and strive to remove obstacles, accelerating our speed of delivery and amplifying our positive impact.
Joining our cross-functional team means diving into the full development cycle—from crafting and maintaining our technological landscape to exploring opportunities beyond programming. You'll be part of an ambitious, talented team of engineers who are not only passionate about technology but also about sustainability and green coding practices. Here, sharing knowledge and learning by doing are not just encouraged—they are a fundamental part of our culture.
Your role will focus on designing, developing, and testing software applications, consistently producing high-quality code, and contributing to the common standards for your team and guild. As a green tech innovator, Vandebron leverages cutting-edge technologies to drive sustainability. Our frontend stack includes React, React Native, Remix, TypeScript, and Vanilla-extract. We work closely with the Digital Design team to create user-friendly and informative apps. We use standard CI/CD tools like Cypress and GitHub Actions to ensure a smooth developer experience. Our backend is powered by Scala with ZIO, running seamlessly on a Kubernetes cluster, and utilizing PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB for robust storage solutions.
