Job description
Who we are
At Vandebron, we're transforming the energy landscape, steering away from the conventional to champion sustainability. Born in 2014, our journey began with Chapter 1, disrupting the market with a transparent platform connecting consumers directly to local, green energy producers. Now, in Chapter 2, we are dedicated to ensuring 100% green energy availability, 100% of the time. Think smart solutions — flexible use of wind and solar farms, Smart EV Charging, and efficient energy storage.
No waiting around, we actively shape a sustainable future. Good energy, smart solutions — that's Vandebron.
Your impact
As a CRO (conversion rate optimization) Specialist, you make every potential customer count! You’ll play a key role in improving the customer journey and increasing conversions across Vandebron’s flagship channels — the Website and App. Your data-driven insights and optimizations directly contribute to our growth and customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the E-commerce Manager, our external Digital Agency, Marketing & Digital Team, Developers, and UX Designers, you’ll identify pain points, craft innovative improvements, and turn data into real results. From A/B testing to leading strategic CRO projects, you’ll make a tangible impact on our digital performance.
What you’ll do
Identify opportunities & pain points: Analyze customer behavior using tools like Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, Optimizely, and more.
Lead A/B testing: Develop hypotheses, set up tests, measure outcomes, and implement winning strategies.
Execute rapid optimizations: Quickly make data-backed improvements while also defining larger, long-term projects.
Collaborate with Marketing & Brand teams: Optimize campaigns for higher conversions and better Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
Optimize the website funnel: Ensure seamless user journeys across all online channels.
Balance UX/UI with conversion goals: Enhance user experience while maximizing conversion rates.
Ensure privacy compliance: Follow GDPR and other privacy guidelines in all CRO initiatives.
What you bring

Technical Affinity – Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and potentially JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
UX/UI & SEO Knowledge – Understanding of UX/UI principles, behavioral psychology, and copywriting for conversion.
Project Management – Strong organizational skills to manage multiple optimization projects simultaneously.
Communication – Ability to explain complex data insights and CRO strategies to diverse stakeholders.
A professional level of speaking, writing and understanding Dutch and English.
Result-Orientation – Focused on achieving tangible improvements in conversion rates.
