Your impact


As our Commercial Director, you will be the compass guiding our commercial strategy towards growth. Your strategic foresight and commercial acumen will be crucial in expanding our market share and solidifying our position in the energy market.


You will launch initiatives that not only attract new customers but also deepen our existing relationships, ensuring that every interaction with Vandebron is meaningful and impactful. Your biggest challenge for the upcoming years will be to perfectly balance the Base Growth target with Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), crafting a sustainable growth model aligned with our mission and values.


Who you’ll work with


In this role, you'll be in the heart of collaboration and leadership, co-leading the Consumer Management Team alongside your colleagues in Marketing and Operations.


You'll steer a dedicated commercial growth team of 9, focusing on both retention and acquisition. Your partnership with Essent, our parent company, amplifies your impact, leveraging their resources to fuel our mission. And as a key player in the Leadership Team, you'll harmonize our strategy, ensuring every move we make is in sync, driving Vandebron towards a greener future.

What you’ll do


  • Mentor and manage a high-performing team dedicated to acquisition and retention, inspiring them to excel.

  • Keep a pulse on the energy market to identify opportunities and translate these insights into actionable growth plans.

  • Craft and execute a commercial vision that sets Vandebron apart in a competitive landscape.

  • Explore and develop new sales channels and partnerships, using your persuasive skills to bring stakeholders on board.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability within the commercial growth team, driving them towards success.

  • Champion our mission internally and externally, inspiring both your team and our stakeholders with our vision for a sustainable future.

Vereisten

What you bring

  • You’re passionate about our mission and feel the urge to enable the transition to 100% renewable energy ASAP.

  • You are interested in the dynamics of the energy market and the challenges that the energy transition brings.

  • You have at least 8 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in commercial leadership roles.

  • You strive for excellence and you are not afraid to change your approach when necessary.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

  • You have a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
