This is where you’ll end up

A chance to join our product team as one of our product owners. Your main focus will be on 1) enabling innovation for our customers, 2) optimizing back-office processes for our internal employees and 3) technical support for teams working with the ERP. You align with stakeholders and (remote) developers on how to improve the product and get the most value out of it. You will be surrounded by a diverse team that strives to push each other forward, and you will become an integral part of this helping to shape the future of Vandebron. Good to know: We follow agile development practices, have a daily stand-up, demo our work regularly and we do team retrospectives to constantly improve our development process. What are you going to do?

  • Create & communicate a clear and strong vision for the product you are owning and get buy-in from the organization on that vision

  • Create and follow a roadmap for your product that is aligned with the strategic direction of the organization, communicating updates to the organization if needed

  • Be in close collaboration with stakeholders, providing transparency about the backlog and what (value) is and will be delivered by your team

  • Create clear requirements that can be translated by the development team into proper solutions

  • Work with your stakeholders & team to agree on accepted story completion making sure the story meets the acceptance criteria and meeting its Definition of Done (DoD)

  • Collect feedback from several stakeholders on what has been delivered, in order to keep improving your product

  • Have ongoing conversations with relevant business teams and remote developers on how the product can be improved

  • Prioritize the backlog continuously based on your latest insights

  • Dive into and become the knowledge expert on our ERP and financial management system (Business Central)

  • Tech support internally for ERP & Business Central

Job requirements

This is how you make a difference

  • In this role you need to be analytical and data-driven

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a product owner at preferably a fast growing tech scale-up

  • You deal with complex issues by making them simple and you are passionate about working in short incremental iterations (Agile)

  • You are result-driven and able to motivate the people around you to get to results

  • You have strong written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization

  • As we are a dynamic and fast growing scale-up you are flexible in dealing with change and have a mindset of continuous learning and growth

  • Prior knowledge about the ins-and-outs of the energy market (both consumers & producers) & EV market is a plus

  • Pre to have affinity with SQL, databases & Azure
