We are Vandebron
Vandebron is the challenger within the Dutch energy market and is there to ensure radical transparency. At Vandebron you choose from whom you buy energy and where your money goes. We are pioneers, because at Vandebron we develop smart energy applications such as 100% green and smart charging. As an innovative Tech Scale-up, we strive to make the energy market even more sustainable. Our mission is crystal clear: 100% sustainable energy in the Netherlands as quickly as possible.
This is where you’ll end up
In our Digital team, your main focus will be on developing, improving and maintaining our products that empower our various digital products. Our products include energy, electric mobility, energy trading, smart grids and much more. The team is working mostly in Scala with technologies and tools like Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes and much more. Across all of these products we share a similar tech-stack: React (Native) with TypeScript, and we use Scala for our API's. For this specific position we would value proven expertise in building backend services, with preferably experience in scala or other functional programming languages. All Vandebron developers have a full stack mindset, so we would value willingness to expand your knowledge and jump into (new) technologies in addition to the ones you are already familiar with. You will be surrounded by a diverse team that strives to push each other forward, and you will become an integral part of this by also sharing your own knowledge and expertise. In addition you will work closely with our designers, product owners and stakeholders to help shape the future of Vandebron.
